A Lovely Day

TGIF!  For me it’s been a long week.  I think it’s the first full week I’ve stayed in the new house (we moved!).  It’s starting to feel like home now… almost!  I still have a few more boxes of stuff to go away.

Today I thought I’d play with the new Power Poppy “Strong and Beautiful ” stamp set and it’s single bloom.

I knew I wanted to play with some watercolor so I grabbed that and stamped my image repeatedly in soft “Totally Taupe” ink from KKS.  I added a big bold sentiment from the “Floribunda” stamp set too.

Now, join the rest of the Bloomies on their blogs to see what they’ve created to inspire you today…

Thanks for dropping by!

Focus on the Sentiment

Hello and welcome to another fun Saturday Challenge! We can't wait for you to play along and share your amazing krafty kreations! We are here to inspire your creativity!

Our hostess this week is the lovely Krafty Girl, Alexis! And her challenge for you is to...
FOCUS ON THE SENTIMENT

For my card today I decided to use the darling “Life is a Journey” stamp set and took the sentiment “Life is a journey, not a destination” and stamped it in Pink Pizzazz ink.

I actually freehand watercoloured the back ground in which to pop up my sentiment on. It was a simple and relaxing piece to create.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like! These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however using a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp will earn you double entries! Today’s new stamp set is called… “My Gnomies!” and it’s adorable!

I chose to make an interactive card with some of the sweet gnomes and scenery in this stamp set.
If you you move the circle on the right side it spins all the little gnomies around!  LOL… so cute!

I used our brand new "Party Peach" ink to create a soft, subtle back drop for my cute gnomes.

Just One More Page

Happy Friday!  I hope is all going well with you today.  Today is Day 2 of our July release for Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!

Our stamp set today is called… “Just One More Page”. A stamp set perfect for your pre-teen or teen!

I loved the awesome image of our teen on her fluffy bean bag chair so I knew I had to make a scene for her to be relaxing in. So I created a wood floor, a desk and some wall embellishments.

I wanted to make the back drop of the card kind of dreamy… like when you read a book, you create a world in your head from what you read.  I used the “Krafty Scenery Stencil” and some soft Salty Sea ink to make it look dreamy.

And when you open the flap, you see this…

You'll get to see all of our brand new goodies in action over the next few days of July Krafty Peeks and everything will be released at our LIVE Online Release Party in the Krafty Friends Facebook group on Saturday, July 13th at 1pm EST!

For now, hop around and check out some incredible designs from our Krafty Team!!

See you back here tomorrow for the final new stamp set reveal!

Life is a Joy

Happy Thursday everyone!  Today is Day 1 of our new July Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps release!

Today we have the adorable stamp set “Life is a Joy” stamp set.  To find out more about this stamp set you can visit the KKS blog today.
Aren't the images adorable in this stamp set?

I chose to make a gate fold card featuring the adorable kids on the bench.  I first stamped on my image and then masked it off.  Then I used our fabulous new “Party Peach” ink and blended into the back ground.  Then I added a touch of Yummy Yellow and a light blend of Ruby Red ink towards the bottom.  I also used Charming Chartreuse and Enchanted Emerald inks for the grassy area.

For my card base I used the “Party Peach” ink again with our “Leaves & Vines Stencil” to create a subtle patterned paper.

You'll get to see all of our brand new goodies in action over the next few days of July Krafty Peeks and everything will be released at our LIVE Online Release Party in the Krafty Friends Facebook group on July 13th!

For now, hop around and check out some incredible designs from our Krafty Team!!
