So I’ve designed an 8 lesson class to show case all of these cool things and it’s beginning THIS week.

Every Thursday and Sunday during the month of September, I will sharing my knowledge and I’ll be assigning a mini challenge at the end of every lesson.

To find out all the particulars, check out this…

I hope you’ll join me in the “Color My World” forum over at StampNation!  You don’t wanna miss it!

Sunny Hospitality

Howdy all!  Happy Friday! It’s time for another fun blog with the Bloom Brigade from Power Poppy!

Today’s I’m combining both a digital stamp set and one of our clear stamp sets to create a simple card to send my little sister since she allowed me to stay at her house while visiting my family this past month.   I thought some happy sunflowers might be perfect for this card front!

So I combined the “Sunflower Power” digital set with my “So Grateful” stamp set to create this beauty…

I actually included the making of this card in my 7th episode of StampNation’s “Let’s Talk Sketches” today.  If you are a StampNation member, you can see it hereEnjoy!

Don't forget about our month long challenge still going on.  This month's it's all about the shabby & chic! For all the rules and how to play, visit the Power Poppy blog right here!

One Crazy Month!

I tell ya… it’s been one CrAZy month for us!  If it was bound to happen, it happened in August!  My 10 year old son flew all by himself to another province; my hubby and I visited Yellowstone National Park for 5 days; I flew home to my native province of Ontario for 4 days to see my 8 week old nephew, sister & Mom and pick up my son; I had abdominal pain and was in hospital for a day and my neighbour had a second heart attack yesterday!  Chaos people!!!

Now… on to the show!

Over at StampNation we have a brand new challenge posted.  This one is all about bubbles this week and the Dream Team had a ball creating with all kinds of different tools; circular stencils, bubble wrap and even soapy inky water!!!  Check out the sneaks for this week…

And it was my turn to provide this week’s sketch for Splitcoaststampers this week (and my friend Gail ended up posting it because I was more than a few hours late! ~ Thank you Gail!!!!) and it was a really simple one… SC555:

This is the card I used to create for it this week!  It’s almost all MFT this week and I love it!  I used the "no-line" colouring technique with my Copic Markers to colour the two little tropical birdies up.

Thanks for stopping by today!

For my card today I’m featuring the newly released digital sunshiny beauty called “Sunflower Power”.  It’s a glorious sunflower bloom and bud accompanied by the wonderfully happy sentiment.

Like, You Have No Idea!

So have you heard?  Have you heard the news???  Today I’m sharing the newest thing to hit the stamping and card making industry… meet “Stamp of Approval” by Catherine Pooler!

This little box contains an awful lot of cool sight unseen crafty items by some of the fabulous industry favs and endless hours of creating fun.  It has many dies. It has embellishments.  It has stamp sets and it even has a stencil and it’s all for EVERYONE!  To find out more, please visit HERE.

Today I’m sharing the first card I made using this fun box of goodies and this card doesn’t even touch all of the fun things included in the beautiful little box.

I began by creating a mask using one of the sweet little tag dies and then I stamped all the fun little leaves and blooms all around the edges.  To create the sentiment, I used the sweet “Love Ya” die and stamped sentiment along with some fun popped-up die cut flowers.

To check out some more “Stamp of Approval” creations, please visit these lovely ladies for more inspiration today:

I hope you have a ball checking out all this awesome box has to offer!  These boxes go on sale on VERY SOON and are in limited numbers so make sure to orders yours early.
