Thankful Moose

Happy Hump Day!  It’s my turn to share a card sketch over at Splitcoaststampers this week!

To check out this week’s sketch, CLICK HERE.

I needed another Thanksgiving card for the upcoming holiday (only 2 weeks away here in Canada!) so I chose to use the adore “Spruce” the Moose from Purple Onion Designs.

To create the panel, I used a long skinny die cut rectangle from MFT and then I created a blended orange panel to put behind it.

A super easy card!

Thanks for stopping by!  Come on over to Splitcoast and join in the card sketch fun!

Let's Go to the Circus!

I’m sharing some of my October Club Canvo creations with you today!

The Club Canvo’s theme is kind of a circus feel.  It’s adorable!

It contains the Oh Yay!  It’s October! stamp set and the Photo Booth Stencil this month.

Let’s start with my intro page!  I chose lots of bright fun colours for this page.  I also pulled in the CP Twisted Sunburst Stencil for that Big Top feel!

For my full calendar, I chose to keep the design I little simpler.  I chose to combine my weekend squares.

For my first week’s spread, I wanted to showcase the adorable carousel horse.

This collection for the October Club Canvo was so fun to create with!

Happy planning!

The Woods is Calling!

It’s Tuesday and over at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps it’s our monthly SKRAPPY CHALLENGE where we challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card!!!

For this challenge you can make anything you wanna... except a card! So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!!

So I accidentally damaged my previous phone cover with some water so I had to throw it out.  So I figured I needed a new one.  Since it’s backing to camping season for me and my new Scout Troop I thought I’d go with a camping themed cover this time.

So I grabbed my “Good in the Woods” and my “Good in the Woods Accessories” stamp sets and decided to stamp them with Wicked Black ink and colour them up with Copic Markers today.

So here’s a photo with the panel slipped into my clear phone case.

Just be sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and that it's a NEW creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!! yep! One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

You have a whole month to play along until Monday, October 28th at midnight EST!

Also be sure to share your creations on the Krafty Friends Facebook page because we LOVE to see your stuff!

Check out some incredible inspiration from the Krafty Design Team below, then join us for all the fun!!

Happy Kraftin'!

MFT 2019 Card Design Superstar ~ Innovation Master

Howdy all!  I’ve always wanted to participate in the yearly My Favorite Things Card Design Superstar Event ever since it started.  I finally took the time to create for this year’s event.

There are 3 categories to participate in: Clean & Simple Genius, Coloring Virtuoso and finally the Innovation Master.

This card is for the Innovation Master category.  This card contains a shaker element, a pull out tag component and finally an interactive component; a MFT die version of a slider card.

Here’s a quick photo of the dies I used to create my slide element for my card:

Here is the card with the tag pulled out to reveal the Lucky sentiment.

Here is the slider element pulled out to reveal the sentiment and puppy pals at the bottom.

Here's a quick video to show all of the interactive parts to the card;

Thanks for coming to check out my card creation!

Have a great Friday!
