I am lucky enough to have lived in 3 of Canada's provinces in my lifetime. I was born in Ontario, moved to British Columbia 5 years ago but currently reside in the glorious province of Alberta now!
Alberta is know for so many different things; mountain views and prairie grasses, cowboys, beef and grain! We are lucky enough to live only 30 minutes east of Alberta's largest city... CALGARY! Otherwise know as "Cow Town"! And if you know anything about Calgary... you'll know it's known around the world for one thing...
The Calgary Stampede!
So I decided to make that white Stetson a focal point on my card today! This cowboy hat image comes from one of my favourite Christmas themed stamp sets by Flourishes, "Cowboy Christmas". Yeehaw!
I stamped my cowboy hat image twice onto Flourishes amazing Classic White Cardstock first using Memento "Black Tuxedo" ink. I cut out just the hat and paper pieced into right back on to the rest of the image, popping it up with some foam tape.
I coloured my image using the following Copic Collections today:
