Welcome to Week 2 of my 12 Weeks of Holiday Cards!
Each Wednesday until Christmas, I will be sharing with you a fun and simple holiday card fit for a quick assembly. I will share tips, tricks and techniques along the way. So join me...
TAGS
One of the easiest things to add to your cards is a simple TAG! You can make them by taking a simple piece of cardstock of any shape or size and punch a hole in the top and VOILA... you have a ready made tag. Or try using a pre-made or pre-printed tag for your cards.
For this card today I created my own tag using some Classic Ivory cardstock from Flourishes. I inked the edges, stamped and coloured my image and then stitched the edges. But a plain tag will do - just add a sentiment or simple image to it.
My cute little ski image (and the knit pattern and sentiment) are all from the stamp set "Snow Day". I love this set! It has some super cute snow day scenes on it, perfect for holiday or winter cards!
So the next time you make a holiday card, think about adding a tag to your creation. You could stamp a whole bunch of tags ahead of time and then go to town adding them to all kinds of fun patterned paper back grounds.
Happy holiday card making everyone!

Oh I just love how you added this beautiful tag. I really need to remember to do this technique with some cards. Thanks for the inspiration.
