Sweet Holiday Wishes

Happy Friday everyone!  I’m here along with some of the Bloom Brigaders from Power Poppy sharing some new card inspiration.

This week I was baking up a storm for my son’s Christmas concert at school.  Each year they ask for baking donations to sell at the two concert performances to make money for student activities.  This year I made oatmeal chocolate chip, ginger cookies and butter cookies that I used cookie cutters in the shapes of trees and gingerbread men.  I had a blast making them – too bad I didn’t take a picture of them!

So in honour of that, here’s my card this week… it’s all about the “Frosted Gingerbread” stamp set this week!

I was inspired by the Merry Monday Challenge this week, #184:

I was also inspired by Wendy's card this week; here.

Don't forget about our final Power Poppy challenge, Power & Spark, for the year.  Learn more how you can play and win here.

Oh!!!! Ally, if you could have heard me - haha! I opened your blog and said, "Ooh!" I just love this really "sweet" card with the cookies and candies. I love the fabulous layout and and great DP. The sentiment treatment is great too! I love it all, and (well) I sort of want to take a bite out of that little gingerbread girl - hehe! You must have had fun making all those cookies. I used to LOVE making all sort of Christmas goodies too (back in the day). Hugs, sweet friend, and wishing you and your "guys" a blessed Christmas!

Ally, this is just so darn cute! I am so drawn to thing with angles this year, not to mention your color palette...so appealing. Making a card like this is about as close as I would get to Christmas baking.

Great job...love the colorful sweets but the layered patterned paper is the star of the show in my estimation. Gorgeous and a winner, I think.
