Seaside Wishes

Happy Friday all!  I hope you have lots of crafty endeavors panned for the weekend.  Here in Canada it is the May 2-4 weekend so my son actually has today and Monday off of school.

Over at StampNation, I frequently participate in the PenPal card swap. You sign up and send a monthly-themed card to the address you are assigned.  This month we have 4 themes to choose from; one being a beach theme.  So I chose the seaside themed stamp from the “Under Glass” stamp set by Power Poppy.  I also so stamped out some smaller tropical leaves from the “Big Sexy Leaves” stamp set to add to the back ground.

This weekend, Marcella has another amazing Stamp Steal going on!  This weekend you can purchase the “Orchids Rock” and their digital counterparts, “Lady Slipper Orchid” and “Orchid Cascade”.  Happy shopping!

Now, join some of the Bloomies with some fun card creations…

Don’t forget to participate in this week’s Creative Confetti Challenge by Julie.  It’s an awesome one this week!

Thanks for joining me!  I hope you have a great weekend!

I LOVE this Ally! Those stripes really add to that nautical feel, and the leaves in the background are awesome!

What a cool combo! I would never in a million years thought to add leaves behind the glass but it works so well and to think you got those little guys from the mondo background stamp! Love this Ally!

I absolutely LOVE THIS, Ally!! The shading is so deep and pretty.... the arrangement and layering ... those leaves peeking out and the way you colored them behind the cloche. This is AWESOME!

I agree with all the other commenters, and I was thrilled to receive this card in the mail last week!
