my Stamp BOX: ABC Card Hop

Welcome to the ABC Blog Hop with myStamp BOX today! I am the LAST stop on the hop today. You should have arrived from Trace's blog here.

If you have just happened upon my blog today, you may want to head to the start of the blog hop today, the myStamp BOX blog.

Here is the ABC Blog Hop schedule just in case you missed anyone:
For participating in the blog hop by leaving a comment on each and every participating myStamp BOX designer's blog, you have a chance to win one of TWO brand new stamps sets being released this month! So leave a comment on all the blog posts and then return to the mSB blog and tell us what you favourite project was along the way for a chance to win! Have fun!

Now on to the show!

Since this blog hop is all about ALPHABETS, I really got to experimenting with my two favourite alphabet stamp sets; Lots of Dots and Rough Copy Alphabet.

For my first card, I wanted the alphabets to be the highlight of my card, so I grouped them together and stamped them in a word format, multiple times as the focus for my simple card.

LOVE

supplies: stamps, myStamp BOX (lots of dots); cardstock, Bazzill, Walmart; inks, Stampin' Up!, Ranger; jute, Stampin' Up!; book paper, Danielle Steele book; die cut shape, Spellbinder's; misc. thread.

For my second use of alphabet stamps, I thought it might be neat to create a shaker card where you could see something fun inside the letters! So I created a shaker card using my Rough Copy Alphabets and some snowflake images from my Let It Snow stamp set.

SN*W

supplies: stamps, myStamp BOX (rough copy, let it snow); cardstock, Core-dinations, Prism; silver pearls, BasicGrey; ink, Versamark, Clearsnap, Copic; die cut shapes, Spellbinder's; tools, Spellbinder's Impressionabilities; embossing powder, Hero Arts; gliitter, Martha Stewart; ribbon, Esprit; acetate, packaging from Tim Holtz; misc., thread.

Here's a close up of the letters with glitter peeking out from behind them!

For my third card, I wanted to show you that is it okay to HIDE your alphabets every once and awhile! So I created this little Hallowe'en themed card....

BOO!

supplies: stamps, myStamp BOX (rough copy); cardstock, Bazzill; patterned papers, die cut creatures, My Mind's Eye; brads, eyelet, Making Memories; web punches, Marth Stewert; die cut shapes, Spellbinder's; ribbon, Esprit; ink, Copic; misc., thread.

And here's where I hit my alphabets.... under the swinging vampire....

Here's a quick peak at the inside of my card....

Leave a comment on my blog for a chance to win one of TWO newly released stamps sets from myStamp BOX! You're gunna love them.... I promise!

As a surprise for visiting my blog.... leave a comment telling me your favourite alphabet project that you have seen along our ABC Blog Hop (please include some way for me to get a hold of you - email, blog link, etc.) and I will randomly select ONE winner to receive their very own copy of the Rough Copy Alphabet stamp set as a special gift from me! You can leave a comment up until Sunday night at 12 pm MST (Sept. 6th) for your chance to win.

Now that you have completed the ABC Blog Hop with all the designers of myStamp BOX, make sure you head on back to the mSB blog and leave a comment on the mSB blog to let Bettina know what your favourite project along the blog hop was!

Good luck!

I have to say that up until I got to your blog, I really was in love with that party banner on Tracey's blog, but that shaker card you've made is too adorable! I'll split the difference - The snow card is the best card/layout, and the banner is the best non-paper project.

Looove the "Love" card. And your Snow card had some painstaking cutting involved! As for my fave of the day? That's hard to choose! Your cards ROCK...Gudrun's work is amazing and Leica's tags are FAB. I can't pick just one. Thanks for the inspiration!

Its soo hard to pick a favorite along the way everything is so different and amazing. But if I must choose I really loved Tracey's party banner and that would be followed by your snow card.

Cutest cards yet! Love the "love, love, love, love" card you made but I must say that Trace's layout about "no longer a family of three" struck both a sentimental and creative chord with me. Thanks for sharing your creativity through your blog!
