Power Poppy Hoppy!

Welcome to the Power Poppy Blog Hop!  For Marcella and the Bloom Brigade we have had an amazing time sharing our creations using the newest Power Poppy stamp sets: Lavender, Play Ball!, Sassy Succulents and finally, Dynamic Duos: Peonies & Tulips.

Needless to say, my focal image wasn’t what I had planned in the end.  It actually happened by happy accident!  I had begun colouring the sprigs of lavender from the new “Lavender” stamp set using my Copics when I had a BIG wet blob drop out of my marker and onto my cardstock!  Oh no!  And then I looked at it again… maybe I can fix this!  So I took the same marker and began to add more “blobs” of colour… and VOILA!  My back ground was born!

I decided to take my back ground idea and transfer it to the inside of my card too..

I hope you enjoy your blog journey with us today!  Now… check out what my fellow Brigaders have created for you…

What a pretty card! I love the vintage feel that the main panel has with the patterned paper and the lacy die cut behind it!

Beautiful, Ally! I have to say that I've done this myself, but I've never recovered with something this beautiful! I love it, and your layout with papers and dies is fabulous! Gorgeous card, sweet friend! Hugs!

This is beautiful, Ally. The mark of a true artist who can take a little mistaken blob into part of the masterpiece. You've got it, girl!

That's so interesting about your background, Ally. Way to salvage it and come up with something totally awesome! Beautiful how you did the curve on a top fold card, too. This is just a stunning piece of work. I've spent a LOT of time admiring it

Now, that is about the happiest accident I've ever seen! This is so elegant, my dear! Way to make good use of an over-filled marker (been there done that)! The die-cuts and fancy edge are fantastic, and the inside makes me swoon as much as the outside! You are RIDICULOUS, you know that?! RIDICULOUS!!!

If you hadn't have told us, we would never have known you didn't do this intentionally right from the start! This looks incredible, Ally....from your gorgeous "happy accident" colored image to your beautiful papers, diecuts and stunning layout.....I think I will borrow a word from my esteemed colleague (hee...how do you like those big words...lol) above....absolutely RIDICULOUS.....totally off the creative charts!:)
