Timeless Tuesday & a Sneak Peek... Holiday Topiaries

Holiday Topiaries
Welcome to Day 2 of our fabulous September release week! Today both of our Friends of Flourishes Team and our Design Team will be showcasing a wonderful new stamp set created by our beloved artist Marcella Hawley. Marcella has packed this beautiful 4x6 stamp set called "Holiday Topiaries" with an array of beautiful holiday decorated greenery and 3 seasonal sentiments to match their holiday vibe. This sweet holiday stamp set will surely make an appearance on your homemade cards, handmade gifts, tags and more this season!

Howdy again!  I hope you're having a blast this week with our 2 new fabulous holiday stamp sets... and we still have three more sets to come!  Hooray!

Our hostess, Katie, for the Timeless Tuesday Challenge this week is challenging us to...

"Make a Good Impression
Incorporate dry embossing somewhere on your card or project.
It could be an embossing folder, stencils, or even a household item for your embossing...
just make sure you "Make a Good Impression"!
(FTTC237)

I could resist pulling out my embossing folder with the mini snowflakes to build a scene with the super cute "Holiday Topiaries" stamp set.
I created a simple A2 card base from Flourishes Classic White Cardstock and added a piece of "Patch" green cardstock from the the Color Made Easy ~ Pistachio collection to the card front.

Then I embossed and sanded my back ground and then I cut two curved panels to act as my ground and added my sweet little holiday topiary on top using foam adhesive and the stitched panel to a red cardstock mat.

To colour my topiary, I used the following Copic Collections:

To add that touch of sparkle to match my red glitter ribbon and White Floral Venice Lace at the top of my card, I added some Glossy Accents to my berries and some Stickles to my leaves.  I also tied a tiny Silver Metallic String bow to add to the base of my topiary pot.

Don't forget...
