White Stuff Anyone?

I was in the mood to create something Christmas-ey... I know!  It's May but you have understand that we sometimes get snow every month of the year here some years.  We actually had snow 2 days ago!!!

So I thought I'd play along with the gang over at the weekly Christmas Card Challenges blog.  This week's challenge is a sketch... my FAV!

Here's a close up of this week's sketch for you...

And here is my creation using the sketch:

Snowflakes

Supplies:  stamps, myStamp BOX, Papertrey Ink;  inks, Ranger, Versamark;  embossing powder, Stampendous!, Hero Arts;  gems, Kaisercraft;  brad, My Mind's Eye;  patterned paper, BasicGrey;  die cut shapes, Spellbinders;  cardstock, Flourishes;  other, ribbon.

Here is a close up of my focal image...

I  created it by die cutting a circle out of white cardstock using my Spellbinder's Classic Circles.  I then stamped my script background and my snowflakes (and faux stitching - "Repeat After Me") from the myStamp BOX "Let It Snow!" stamp set using Versamark ink.  I heat embossed the flakes with a Kaleidoscope powder and then inked up the background to make the flakes POP!

Thanks for checking out my card creation!  Photobucket
