Makin' a Grocery List

I created this fun little project for this week's challenge over at the My Favorite Things blog this week. This week's challenge was to use a FMT template and a Pure Innocence image.

I downloaded the MFT "To Do List" template to use. I combined it with their sweet little "Flower Girl" Pure Innocence image.

I wanted to create a grocery list booklet to hang on my fridge. To showcase the template, I used a Hambly Screen Print so you can see the template behind the cover of the book. I even coloured one of the frames in from the back side with my Copics to match the colour of my papers.

Here's a close up of my little flower girl.... coloured with Copics and paper pieced with Crate Paper.

I added a rectangle of adhesive magnetic paper to the back of the notepad so it will stick to the fridge.

This will come in quite useful as I never write my grocery list down!

supplies: patterned papers, Crate Paper; stamp and template, My Favorite Things; tools, Zutter, Spellbinder's, Martha Stewart punch, Corner Chomper; transparency, Hambly Screen Prints; gems, KaiserCraft; alphabet stickers, Doodlebug Designs; ink, Memento, Copic; misc., chipboard, magnetic paper.
