Today's challenge over at the Couture Cardstock blog is to create a project using pop-dots or other dimensional adhesive to add dimension to your project.
So I grabbed one of my newest stamp sets from Flourishes and went to town creating a fun card with some cool dimension to it. Here's my project for today's challenge...
Violets
I took inspiration from the Card Patterns blog for my design today. I used sketch #55.
I stamped a few of the violets in the image on scrap pieces of cardstock, coloured them with my Copics like I did my main image and then added some Scotch brand foam adhesive underneath them to pop them up off of the card.
You can't see it but I used some iridescent chalks to add some sparkle to my violets like some of them seem to have in real life.
supplies: patterned papers, BasicGrey, GCD Studios; stamp, Flourishes; cardstock, Prism, Bazzill; punches, Martha Stewart, EK Success; inks, Ranger, Memento, Copic; chalk, Pebbles Inc.; gems, KaiserCraft; foam adhesive, Scotch; tools, Spellbinder's, Corner Chomper, EK Succes corner rounder; ribbon, DCVW.
