Catherine Pooler & Picket Fence ~ Instagram Hop

Today I'm part of a collaboration Instagram hop with Catherine Pooler and Picket Fence Studio.

We hopping to share lots of amazing creations with both manufacturers.

Here is the card I created using lots of great Catherine Pooler products and Picket Fence's cool Paper Pouncers..

I started my card by ink blending my background with the Picket Fence Paper Pouncers using Cove Blue and Lilac ink. I took some water and gold paint and splattered it across the panel.

Next I cut and adhered the new "Eternal Flame Cover Plate Die" from white cardstock.

Next I die cut the scalloped frame and inside dotted rectangle from the "Scallops& Dots Dies".  I inked the scalloped layer up with Dress Blues ink. 

Next I stamped and die cut all of these elements from the new "Warm & Bright" stamp and die set: lantern (Dress Blues), boughs (Lilac & Serene), holly leaves (Whipped Honey) and the candle (Lilac).  I used a yellow Paper Pouncer to ink up the center of the lanterns globe with Whipped Honey ink for a yellow glow.

I layered the scalloped and dotted layers, punching a hole through the center of the lantern globe.  I used a pencil to mark the hole onto my inked panel and also punched a hole through those layers.  I backed the hole with some vellum. 

I also stamped a greeting from the "Winter on Main Street" stamp set in the new Gold ink.

I completed my Chibitronics circuit using Conductive Fabric Tape and the new Animating White Fade LED Light Stickers so my lantern lights up and slowly fades in and out like a candle might.
