Timeless Tuesday ~ Gettin' Sentimental

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to the Timeless Tuesday challenge at Flourishes!

Today, we are ushering in this challenge because not only is Flourishes releasing a new single stamp set with a beautiful sentiment, we are helping Jan Marie, the owner of Flourishes launch her new blog! Want a peek at the new sentiment?

The stamp is called Sweetness of Friendship and it takes on the mantra of Jan Marie's new blog - a place where friends can gather to enjoy the laughter and sharing of pleasures (in creating!) This week's fabulous challenge is from the very talented, Denise.  Denise has challenged us this week to create a project with the sentiment as the focus.  Here is my sentiment focused creation for this week's challenge...

Take Time

For my sentiment, I chose this beautiful verse from the Orchids stamp collection and stamped it on Flourishes Classic White cardstock using Memento "Black Tuxedo" ink.  I mounted my sentiment on one of the lovely label shaped stamps from the Country Charms stamp set stamped using Ranger's "Worn Lipstick" Distress ink..

I even used the gorgeous medallion from the Medallion Motif stamp collection to stamp on my die cut background.
