CCAS Blog

My buddy Tara and I run a blog called Creative Crafts and Stickers Blog! Each day one of us post either a challenge, a sketch, some scrapbook related tutorials or other scrapbooking related information.

Each month we offer a prize drawing to everyone who participates on the blog! We'd love to have you participate too! Check out the blog link here. The prize is always a great one! Scrapperie One Day Cyber Crop!

To go along with our Fantastic February Challenge at Scrapperie, you won't want to miss out on all the fun we have in store for you this Saturday - February 23, 2008 at our one day cyber crop!

We'll begin at 10am CST by posting all ten challenges and the sign-in thread. (All challenges will be due by midnight that night.) The fun will continue throughout the day with games, challenges and other crazy chances to earn prizes and points towards the February challenge.

A Little Photo Fun...

I received my Sweet Pea Scraps DT kit in the mail yesterday and I have been dying to get something started for that so I pulled out my camera this afternoon and have been experimenting with it.

So I was blog hopping the other day and I came across this beautiful blog, {Capture The Moment}.

And I was scrolling down and I saw this blog entry!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am in love!!!!

These gorgeous stamps were just released today (Friday, February 15) and I ordered them as soon as they showed up in their site, Papertrey Ink! I just had to have them!

I made a page for Noel Mignon's blog challenge all about "Hometowns". I stepped out of my colour comfort zone and used PURPLE!!!! Wowsers!!! Check it on her blog!

I made this card for Allison's blog "Stampin' When I Can"! We were to use a "dollar" stamp. I used the "dollar & half" heart stamp from See D's I got a few weeks back.

I have continued to have fun all weekend long at Simply Obsessed!

Here are the final two pages a created for challenges at their "Inpromptu Love to Scrap" crop this weekend. The challenges were great and kept my scrappy mojo going!


(The scrolly circle was created using a Technique Tuesday stamp stamped all around the circular piece of Scenic Route paper.)

Yippee!

I received an email yesterday from Canadian Scrapbooker. They are going to print one of my pages that I did with my wedding photos in their Summer issue! My sister-in-law Heidi took all the photos for it and they're gorgeous! Yippee! It's my first time being published in Canadian Scrapbooker! I'm so excited!
