It’s that day the week when a new card sketch arrives at Splitcoaststampers and a a new challenge is unveiled at StampNation! So today I thought I’d combine the two of them.
Our challenge over at StampNation today involves a little 3x3 tic-tac-toe board. For my card revealed at SN, I used the line “Love You, Die Cut, Sequins” and here’s a little sneak peek of that card for you…
On my card here, I used the tic-tac-toe line “Flower, Emboss, Sequin”. For my flower, I used the newly released stamp set “Orchids Rock” by Power Poppy. I embossed my sentiment, also from Power Poppy, “Big Scripts” stamp set, using a clear glitter embossing powder and my sequins are the 4mm “Sparkling Clear” sequins from Pretty Pink Posh!
Here is this week’s Card Sketch, SC529:

Gorgeous card! I love the colors you used. I tend to use Distress inks more and more with my crafting these days. I love those mini inks!
What a lovely card I use a lot of Memento and Ranger and Heidi Swapp these day :)
Your coloring of the flowers and background really makes this card etremely special and pleasing to the eye! I may have to invest in this stamp set. In my craft room nowadays I use mostly distress inks, Mama Elephant pigment inks, Hero Arts, Simon Says and Stampin Up dye inks. I'm starting to see a ton of other dye inks I want to try out as well such as PTI inks and the new inks from Lawn Fawn!!!
Ally, wonderful card, and perfect coloring! I usually use Memento inks and Distress inks)))
I use mostly Stampin'Up inks because that's what I have, but am slowly building my collection of Distress inks - love how they react with water for various techniques.
Thanks for the chance to win a spot in the class!
