Introducing… Frosted Gingerbread!

Frosted Gingerbread stamps Power Poppy
It's Day 3 and we’ve got another doozey for you from Power Poppy today!

This little beauty will be sure to satisfy that sweet tooth of yours.  It’s called “Frosted Gingerbread” and it’s full of cute, non-sticky images and sweet messages for all those holiday cards!

So I began my card using some simple die cut layers.  I stamped my adorable gingerbread house from the stamp set onto white cardstock and coloured it up using Copic Markers.

Then I carefully added some Liquid Applique to the snowy aspects of the house, let it dry and then applied some heat to make the solution puffy!  I love the texture it leaves…

Ally, love how you've decorated this, and the Merry Christmas over top. My Liquid Applique always comes out looking like popcorn. Maybe because I heat set it while it's still wet. Never thought of letting it dry first. This looks fabulous. Love the papers and the shape behind the image, too.

Ally this is gorgeous! I love that you even off-centered the house on the card, and that you used the liquid appliqué. I think it doesn't get used enough when you're right, it's great for snow!

This is wonderful. I learned the hard way to liquid applique my snow before I colored. Yours looks perfect. Great job.
