Howdy everyone! Can you believe it's November already? There are literally only 49 days until Christmas! How scary is that???
This week, our lovely hostess Cheryl has got a fabulous challenge for everyone. Check it out...
I had to think a bit about this one at first. I finally decided to make a card that has a few "pages" to it. First I basically cut one quarter (a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 square) of a piece of Classic White Cardstock off to create my card base. Then I took our Flourishes Perfectly Pierced Classic Frame Die and die cut the top panel of my cardstock out - creating my negative die cut shape. I backed with a piece of patterned red paper, also cut with an oval die and centered the oval in the negative shape. I also added a simple double bow made from "Basque Red" seam binding ribbon.
Then I stamped the glorious holiday decorated door from the "Home for the Holidays" stamp set using Memento "Black Tuxedo" ink onto some Classic White Cardstock. I coloured in my image using the following Copic Collections:
Here is what it looks like when you lift the flap and reveal the whole image. I matted my image with "Red Devil" cardstock from the "Poppy" Colour Made Easy cardstock collection.
Then you flip the door image to the side and reveal the inner card.... some place to write my holiday message!
Before you go too far, be sure to visit the rest of the DT's blogs, as well as our November Guest Designer and leave them a little blog love. In return, they will amaze you with their beautiful work...

Beautiful cards, Allison!
I don't know what you were talking about in your email -- this is really pretty!! I love how it opens and you see the doormat. Thank you for the beautiful card you sent me when my mom passed away. It meant so much!
A beautiful card Ally! I love all the papers and how you have made this open up to see the doormat. Perfect!
This is gorgeous Ally! I love that you used not only one negative die cut but two. Great choice of designer papers and I love the way the different layers open up to reveal more and more of your talented work.
That's a Beauty! I love how you used the negative space! And that stamp, just used it myself, it is gorgeous and quite FUN to color!
Seriously?!?....what an awesome card design and I love the image you used....colored beautifully, I might add. Like I said, week after week, you just keep creating beauties! :)
This card is amazing, Ally! OMGosh, I love the card design with the extra page, and your coloring is beautiful! That image looks so good with all that bright yellow-green for the greenery, and the polka dots are super fun! I just love seeing what you create every single week!
