This week's Timeless Tuesday Challenge comes to us from the lovely, Broni Holcombe! And Broni's challenge this week, FTTC203, is for us to use any combination of colors from the Poppy, Emerald Coast and Rich Browns paper collections (seen below). What a great colour combination to inspire us this week.
So here is my card inspired by Broni's colour combination...
Life is a Journey
I first began with a kraft cardstock base, approximately 5 x 5.5. Then I took some super cute patterned papers from Bo Bunny that worked perfectly with the Poppy & Emerald Coast colour scheme and matted them using the darkest richest brown from the Color Made Easy "Rich Brown" cardstock collection. I did them same thing with my banner piece of patterned paper.
Then I cut out a brown cardstock "Marvelous Squares" from Spellbinders and used it to create a frame for my sentiment form the new "Just My Type" stamp set, stamped in Memento's "Love Letter" ink on Flourishes Classic Ivory Cardstock.
I added some finishing touches with some Basque Red seam binding from the Color Made Easy "Poppy" ribbon collection and fun brad. I also added a few pearls to the corners of the frame.
Take a peek at what my fellow Timeless Tuesday designers have created for today's challenge…

I love the way you designed your card, Ally! The framed sentiment and the papers really pop those colors! And I really love the diecut you used and the way you matted the sentiment image with it! :)
