The challenge for this Blog Hop was to take anything that makes you think of Summer and create a project that fits the theme.

You participate in the blog hop by leaving a comment on each and every participating myStamp BOX designer's blog and all of our partner companies' blogs as well. You have a chance to win a set of stamps sets! Our partner companies will offer up a prize as well. So leave a comment on all the blog posts and then return to the mSB blog and tell us what you favourite project was along the way for a chance to win! Have fun!

For me, summer is all about outdoor fun! One of our family fun stops during the warm months is to visit the beach. So I was browsing the aisles of our local bargain shop and came across a bag of fun beach related toys. PERFECT!! Since toys seem to migrate while on the beach, I thought I would personalize my son's beach stuff...

First I stamped all kinds of boy related icons all down the side of his fun plastic wheel barrow. I used StazOn black ink and allowed it a few minutes to dry between stamping the next image.

Stamp sets I used for the wheel barrow: "house", No Place Like Home; "ice cream cone, computer/TV, cell phone, Symbols; "Crazy Stuff", Bold Blocks; "seal", Seal It!; "man image, male gender symbol", She Says - He Says; "circles", Funky Circles; "robots, nuts, bolts, gears", Programmed Robots; "cloud, sun", Wishing You Sunshine; "airplane, car, words", Passport to Adventure; "alphabets", Rough Copy Alphabet.

I made sure to personalized it for him with his name right on the front...

... and also I on the inside. I coloured his name in using my Copic markers.

Included in the summer kit was a little pail with a red rake and a green shovel. I personalized his pail with the Funky Circles stamp set and I also added his initial "S" to the big circles using the Rough Copy Alphabet set. Since he's almost 5 now, I thought I would stamp on the tools what they were in actual words. For this, I used the Mini Alpha - Small Box set.

The whole entire set came in a handy back pack so I personalized it too!!! I used the newest mSB stamp set, the Royal Flush alphabet stamp set.

Everything comes apart easily and slides right into the backpack. Here's my little beach boy sporting his new beach gear...

I hope my project has inspired you today!!!

Please hop along to the back to the myStampBOX Blog. Please make sure you leave a comment on the Blog Hop post and tell us what your favourite project was along the way to finish off your Jump into Summer inspirational Blog Hop today and a chance to win a PRIZE!

We hope that you've had lots of fun hopping along with us!!

This is such a fabulous idea - we've lost a bunch of beach toys over the years. It looks great on the wheelbarrow and the funky circles on the pail are adorable, too!

How did your son like his creation? I LOVE IT!! My son would be ecstatic about a project like this instead of one I say "DON'T TOUCH"

Great job and you are a good momma!

Love this idea. First, the toys look better (read: more fun). Second: no discussions about who the owner is any more.

I forget I can use stamps for other than cards and layouts. Thank you for reminding me.
