Stamp Anniething ~ Meet "Myrtle - Bees Knees"

Today is the first day of the bran new Stamp Anniething release for May!  Our first little lady is already to party.

Meet "Myrtle - Bees Knees"!  She's one fabulous little flapper gal...

I paired her with the brand new and AH-mazingly cool "Grand Staircase Die" and the gorgeous new "Deco Fan Stencil".

I couldn't resist making that girl's dress sparkly!  Thank goodness for White Gel Pens!

Catherine Pooler ~ Summer Nights Release Day & A Christmas Card!

The Catherine Pooler Designs "Summer Nights" release becomes available TODAY!  Everything in the new release will available for sale in the CP Shop at 9am ET.

Today I'm featuring one of my favorite parts of the new release, the awesome "Camping Lantern Die"!  A lot of people that have seen this die just love it's many design possibilities!  ME TOO!  I know it's kinda meant for summer or camping season but I also saw it for Christmas too!!

I paired this beautiful die with some of amazing 6x6 patterned paper packs; "Through The Woods" and "Patterns & Pines".  Both amazing patterned paper packs for the season of snow!  I even used the pine cone, greenery and snowflake paper to fussy cut out the details and add them to my card.  I used Hot Tub ink and swiped it across my lantern die cut to reveal the embossed detail of the die.

To add a touch of sparkle, I heat embossed the little flame part of the lantern die with some "Halo Embossing Powder".  And isn't that a cute touch of the gingham paper wrapped around the top of the lantern?!?!

To finish off the card, I used a simple and small greeting from the "Winter Blessings Sentiments" stamp set with Icing on the Cake ink.

Catherine Pooler ~ S'More Time Together

Today I'm sharing a quick card featuring the adorable "S'More Please" patterned paper pack and the adorable "Happy Camper" stamp set featuring that sweet little badger fella!

I used Icing on the Cake ink to stamp all my images and Spruce ink for the greeting.  I used my Tombo Blender pen and some Over Coffee, Sauna and Apricot ink to color in all the details.  A simple rectangle die cut using the "Scallops & Dots Dies" and my card was complete!

Catherine Pooler ~ Let There Be Light

Today I'm sharing another fun interactive card featuring that adorable "Camping Lantern Die" and our fabulous new "Cozy Plaid Background" stamp set.

First I stamped that beautiful plaid using some Daydream and Juniper Mist inks.  I like the almost "glow" of the plaid!  Then I cut a lantern and coloured it up with my Copic Markers!  I adhered some vellum to the glass globe part of the lantern to add a haze to the globe.

Next I backed it with a piece of white cardstock and attached the colored flame part of the die cut.  I hole punched a small hole in the flame so my LED light would show through.

My circuit inside used the amazing products by Chibitronics. I used a yellow LED Light Sticker along with some Copper Tape and created my circuit so that when you press the sentiment ion the card front, you complete the circuit and the yellow light, lights up.
