Global Adventure: Pt. Deux ~ Lil' Cat Café

 

Coming to the Catherine Pooler Shop next week the Global Adventure: Pt. Deux collection!

Today Catherine and Erika have revealed the second bundle in this release and it's called the "Springtime in Paris" bundle!

This bundle features the Dreaming of France Stamp Set with a Parisian café theme.  Compliment your French inspired cards with the Ooh Lala Word Die, Parisian Portico Background Stamp and the Under the Eiffel Tower Patterned Paper.  To it all off with the gorgeous Paris Sequin mix for that je ne sais quoi. This bundle works beautifully with our NEW Refresh Spring Fling Colors. All of these products can be bought à la carte too!

I began creating my card by stamping the amazing "Parisian Portico Background Stamp" in Twilight ink.  Then I stamped all my café pieces from the new "Dreaming of France Stamp Set" in Midnight ink and coloring them in with Copic Markers.

I stamped my beautiful greeting using Tutti Frutti ink.

Here's a little close up of my café scene with a smattering of sparkly "Paris Sequins"...

Global Adventure: Pt. Deux

The newest Catherine Pooler release has got a theme!  This collection is called Global Adventure Pt. Deux!  This collection has 2 small bundles plus our brand new refreshed inks; Minted, Oh Boy! and Sixteen Candles!

Today's bundle reveal is called the "Adventure in Asia".  

This bundle of Asian inspired products come from a variety of traditions and cultural celebrations.  The rich patterns and florals paired with paper art come together in this bundle's Parasols & Pagodas Patterned Paper, Fan Dance Background Stamp, Lantern Festival Stamps and Dies and Origami Cheers Stamps and Dies.  The Kyoto Sequin Mix brings the added pop of bling and coordinates with the color combo of the paper.  

Today's card features the brand new refreshed inks, Minted, Oh Boy! and Sixteen Candles.  I first created the soft stencilled background using the "Gradient Diamonds Stencil".  I also took a thin strip of the smaller striped paper from the "Black Tie Gala" patterned papers and inked that up to match the inky gradient of the diamonds.

Then I stamped out a couple of our sweet little chatty birdies from the "Flock of Friends" stamp set and created masks to color in their bodies and scarves.  I then used the fun "Call Me" stamp set to create a greeting speech bubble for my sentiment.

Inside my card I used the Sixteen Candles ink and the stencil again to add a little matching touch plus a fun "Flock of Friends" sentiment.  My goal this year is to decorate the insides of my cards more  frequently!

New Refreshed Inks from Catherine Pooler

Hello and Happy Hump Day!  Today over at Catherine Pooler Designs, Catherine has just revealed the 3 newest refreshed colors from the Party Collection of inks.

So the three inks that are RETIRING are.... Mint To Be, It's a Boy and Sweet Sixteen inks!

Our THREE brand new "refreshed" inks are Minted, Oh Boy! and Sixteen Candles!  These three new inks will be available for purchase on Wednesday next week in the CP Shop!

There will be refills available PLUS there will be 3 new Mini Ink Pads available for purchase too!  Plus CP has printed off new label stickers just for these 3 new inks.

I used the sweet "Two Part Hearts" stamps and dies put my all-time favorite die set, the "Scallops & Dots Dies" to create this fun card.  Plus it wouldn't be a card without a pretty sentiment, so I used the "Handwritten Thank You Sentiments" stamp set for that!

In addition to our 3 new refreshed inks, I added Chiffon, Bellini, Garden Party and It's a Girl to my rainbow of fun!

Happy 2022!

Happy New Years everyone!  Today is the first official Saturday of the new year and it's time for the first Saturday Challenge for Three Room Studio!

This week's challenge is "anything goes"!  Yup... really easy this week!

I wanted to create a fun New Years card so I'm using the new FREE digital stamp, "New Year Butler 2022".

I also included a fun simple sentiment from the "Let's Hygge" stamp set too...
