Sweet November Stamps ~ Scarecrows in Training!

Today I’m sharing a card featuring one of the brand-new digital stamps from the “Scarecrows in Training” series at Sweet November Stamps. This collection includes three different scarecrow images, including one with a whole flock of cheeky crows hanging out with the little straw filled fellas.

For my card, I paired up two of these cuties as they learn the ropes among the corn stalks and sing along with their feathered friends.

To ground my scene, I added the “Happy Fall Y’all” sentiment from the Harvest Wishes clear stamp set. The playful leafy frame was created using the Vines for Rectangles Dies from Catherine Pooler Designs, which perfectly complements the harvest theme. For the background, I added a pop of pattern with the fun polka dots from CP’s retired Gardener’s Notebook patterned paper pack—such a cheerful base for the fall vibes.

Everything is colored up with Copic markers to bring these characters to life with warm autumn tones. 🍁

The Scarecrow in Training digi series is available now in the Sweet November Stamps shop—be sure to check out all three designs and create your own playful fall scenes!

Have a great Labor Day Weekend all!

Catherine Pooler ~ Hello Fall

Today I’m sharing another card created with the brand-new Flavors of Fall collection from Catherine Pooler Designs. This one features a playful squirrel, a sweet kitty cat, a pumpkin, and some scattered leaves—all from the Bundled Up stamp set. I stamped and colored each image using my Copic Markers to give them that warm, autumn charm.

For the background, I couldn’t resist using some of the darling patterned papers from the Hall of Fall 6x6 Paper Pack—the whimsical leafy print pairs perfectly with the plaid stripe for a cozy Fall vibe.

To finish it all off, I die cut the sentiment Hello Fall from the Cozy Fall Trio Word Dies. I inked it up in Macchiato ink and added a touch of sparkle for a little extra seasonal magic. ✨

This card came together so easily and was such a joy to make—definitely one of those quick yet satisfying projects that lets the beautiful new release shine!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Dozer Hits the Skate Park!

Today I’m excited to share a card featuring one of the newest digital images from the Dog Park series at Sweet November Stamps. This cutie is Dozer the English Bulldog—and just look at that face! πŸΆπŸ’•

Dozer comes with his very own skateboard, which makes him even more fun to design with. I thought he needed a cool spot to skate, so I drew in a cityscape background to give him the perfect park setting. Everything is colored up using my trusty Copic Markers, from the bright blue skies to the greenery in the background and, of course, Dozer himself.

For the sentiment, I used "You're Pawsitively RAD"—because let’s be honest, Dozer is pawsitively rad on that board! πŸ›Ή✨

This card was extra special because it went out to my Sweet November Stamps PenPal for August, where our theme was Animals. I couldn’t resist sending this happy skater pup to spread some smiles!

If you love playful pups, the Dog Park series has four adorable new digital images you’ll definitely want to check out.

Have a great hump day!

Catherine Pooler ~ Autumn Vibes Are Here!

Today I’m sharing a cozy Autumn card featuring goodies from the brand-new Flavors of Fall release from Catherine Pooler Designs!

I started my card by stamping the adorable little critters from the Bundled Up stamp set in Memento Rich Cocoa ink. I loved coloring them up with my Copic Markers and adding all those extra details to their warm Fall clothing—it really brings them to life!

For my focal point, I used the middle-sized frame from the Vines for Rectangles Dies. I just adore the leafy edging—it’s the perfect little detail for a seasonal card design. To bring in a classic Fall feel, I covered my card base with one of the new plaid patterned papers from the Hall of Fall 6x6 Paper Collection.

To finish things off, I created my sentiment by pairing a Quartz-inked ticket from the Ticket & Tape Dies with a greeting from the new Cozy Fall Trio Word Dies, cut from cardstock inked with Macchiato. Together, it makes the perfect autumn vibes message!

This release has everything you need to jump right into Fall crafting—warm tones, cozy critters, and beautiful seasonal designs. 🍁

Sweet November Stamps & Craft Roulette ~ Sending Autumn Smiles

Happy crafty friends! 🌟

Today I’m sharing my latest project created for Craft Roulette, Episode #280, featuring some of my favorite Sweet November Stamps.

For this card, I combined the adorable SN Gal Deb and Digby with the Background Builder: Day at the Park set to create a cozy, hometown-inspired scene. I wanted it to feel like a casual walk along the riverside in Autumn – the colorful trees, calm water, and park lamps really add that “home sweet home” vibe.

Craft Roulette Parameters

This past week’s spin of the Craft Roulette wheel gave us:

  • Project: Thinking of You → I chose a sweet embossed sentiment, “Sending Smiles”.

  • Colors: Hometown Colors → My riverside park and autumn palette reflect the colors that remind me of home.

  • Element: Cup or Glass → The globes on the light posts represent the glass element.

  • Random: Add a Doodle → I’m calling sweet Digby a “Doodle” breed of pup! 🐢✨

Card Details

Deb and her faithful pup, Digby, are all dressed up for a stroll by the water. I colored everything using Copic Markers, bringing in warm Autumn tones to highlight the cozy feel of the season.  To create the textured sidewalk, I laid down my dark grey Copic base layers and then used a nappy rag of cloth with some Copic Blending solution to push the color into the cardstock. The park background layers beautifully with this duo and sets the scene for a heartfelt “thinking of you” card that’s sure to brighten someone’s day.

Catherine Pooler & Sizzix ~ Rainbow Vibes

Today I’m excited to share a bright and happy card featuring products from the new Catherine Pooler Designs & Sizzix collaboration! This collection is full of playful textures, bold shapes, and endless creative possibilities.

For my card, I started with the On the Spot 3D Embossing Folder to create a fabulous textured background. I blended a rainbow of Catherine Pooler inksIt’s a Girl, Tiara, Tiki Torch, Lime Rickey, and Aquatini—over the embossed design for a soft but colorful backdrop. The embossing really comes to life when paired with these gorgeous inks!

As my focal point, I used the largest of the Rainbow Arches Dies, cutting it in crisp white for a fun tone-on-tone look. I added a few clouds from the die set for extra dimension, keeping the rainbow clean and modern while letting the background colors shine through.

To finish things off, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Overarching Sentiment stamp set—“You’re the Best”—which tucks perfectly into the rainbow design.

This card was such a joy to create! I love how the textured rainbow background and crisp white rainbow arch balance each other beautifully.

If you’d like to shop this fun collaboration, you can find everything in the Catherine Pooler Designs shop.

Chibitronics ~ Sweater Weather is Better Together!

There’s something magical about Autumn nights—the crisp air, the golden leaves, and the cozy feeling of being with friends. For today’s card, I brought that magic to life with the help of Chibitronics LED stickers!

I created this fun fall road-trip scene using the adorable “On My Way” stamp set by Purple Onion Designs. The critters all piled into their car made the perfect focal point! To set the scene, I used the “Horizon Lines: Birch Trees” stamp set from Sweet November Stamps and one of its cozy greetings. Everything is brought to life with Copic Markers—from the glowing Autumn leaves to the deep night sky.

But of course, it wouldn’t be complete without some lights! πŸŒ™

  • I added a White LED Light Sticker behind the moon to give it that dreamy glow.

  • For the car’s headlights, I used two Animating White Blink LED Light Stickers to make them flash like real headlights on a night drive.

  • My circuit was built using Conductive Fabric Tape, making it simple to connect everything neatly.

To power up the scene, I used one of the newly designed Launchpad Batteries coming soon to the Chibitronics shop—these make powering your light-up cards easier than ever! You can check them out here.

hope you have an amazing week!

Catherine Pooler & Sizzix ~ Yay for Happy Gardens!

Today I’m sharing a fresh and cheerful card featuring the brand-new Catherine Pooler Designs & Sizzix collaboration! This release is full of versatile dies, stencils, and fun sentiments—and I couldn’t wait to dive in with some of my favorites.

The Background

I started my card with the beautiful new Happy Garden 2 Layering Stencil. Using a soft and springy palette, I blended Melon Ice, Martini, Frosted, and Serene inks to bring the garden blooms to life. I love how these inks layer seamlessly for that soft botanical look.  I quick splatter of metallic silver watercolor paint added that touch of glimmer!

To give the panel a decorative edge, I reached for the Scallops & Dots Dies, which cut out that pretty scalloped border detail. It frames the design so sweetly and adds an extra touch of whimsy.

The Sentiment

For the bold focal point, I die cut one of the Exclamation Word Dies and blended it with Serene ink. A few touches of White Gel Pen accents help it pop against the background. To anchor the sentiment, I layered it over a vellum circle die cut from the Border Party Circles Dies—I love that these dies emboss the edge of the circle for just the right amount of subtle detail!

The Finishing Touches

The vellum helps soften the busy floral background while still letting all that stencilled goodness peek through. The simple “yay” sentiment really makes this card perfect for so many occasions—celebrations, accomplishments, or just happy mail to brighten someone’s day!

✨ All of the new Catherine Pooler Designs & Sizzix products are available now in the Catherine Pooler shop.

Happy shopping!

Catherine Pooler & Sizzix ~ Everyday Whimsy

The brand-new Everyday Whimsy Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs and Sizzix is here, and it’s full of playful, colorful possibilities! Today I’m sharing a bright and happy shaker card featuring some of my favorites from this release.

For the background, I reached for the stunning Happy Garden 2 Stencil. Using a soft pastel palette of Sweetheart, Pucker Up, Lemon Sorbet, Serene, and Frosted inks, I blended the stencil design across my panel to create a whimsical floral backdrop. The mix of pinks, purples, and yellows makes everything feel so fresh and cheerful.

To add movement and fun, I used the Border Party Dies to create a circular shaker window in the center of my card. Inside the shaker, I added sparkly Crater Lake Sequins along with a delicate butterfly die cut from the Bright Butterflies 2 Dies. The shimmer and gentle flutter bring the whole card to life!

For my sentiment, I kept things bold and simple with the “hey” from the Exclamation Word Dies. I die cut it from cardstock in a soft purple to complement the background, then layered it over the shaker window for a clean, eye-catching focal point.

A Whimsical Hello

This card is all about layering color, texture, and movement for a truly whimsical hello. The Everyday Whimsy Collection has so many mix-and-match possibilities, whether you want to build floral backgrounds, playful die-cut accents, or sparkly shakers like this one.

Sweet November Stamps ~ Fair Fun Ferris Wheel

Today I’m sharing a card featuring the brand new digital stamp collection Fair Fun from Sweet November Stamps. This fun release includes four full-panel digital scenes, perfect for creating quick, immersive cards that look like you spent hours designing!

For my card, I chose the Ferris wheel scene – nothing says summer fair quite like a ride to the top with a friend. I colored the entire scene with Copic Markers, bringing the nighttime fairgrounds to life. To make the starry sky pop, I added extra twinkling details using Copic Blender and a white Sharpie paint marker.

Once my scene was complete, I used the Catherine Pooler Designs "Dots & Scallops Die" to cut it out and added my sentiment using the "Sentiment Banner Dies" for a clean finish.

This scene was so much fun to color and really captures the magic of the fair!

I hope you have a magical weekend!

Catherine Pooler ~ With Love X's

Today’s card is all about clean design, bright colors, and a touch of floral charm using the Catherine Pooler Designs With Love stamp, die, and coordinating stencil set.

I started by creating a playful strip down the right-hand side of my card using Midnight ink and a stamp from the Absolute Favorite Floral stamp set. This subtle pattern adds just the right amount of texture without overpowering the design.

Next, I stamped the floral images, stencilled and die cut the gorgeous blooms from the With Love set using a vibrant palette of Sparkling Berry, Orange Peel, Serene, and Honeycomb inks. I love how these colors pop against the crisp white background! After die-cutting the flowers, I layered them over the X's strip for a balanced focal point.

The sentiment — “With Love” — is also from the With Love stamp set, and I love that the coordinating die set includes dies for all the sentiments too, making it easy to add that final touch.

A few scattered stars and small flowers complete the design for a card that’s sweet, simple, and ready to brighten someone’s day.

You can find the With Love bundle and all the inks I used over at Catherine Pooler Designs.

Have a great weekend!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Howlin' Good Birthday Fun

Today I’m sharing a playful birthday card featuring the oh-so-handsome Sarge the Doberman from the Sweet November StampsDog Park” digital series. Sarge is looking mighty proud, carrying his trusty rope knot toy — and if that wasn’t enough, he’s also been sneaky and grabbed the adorable plush platypus from the Ollie the Labrador digi stamp set. Sarge also comes with floppy ears too!

To set the scene, I pulled in some fun elements from a few different Sweet November digital collections. The towering leafy tree comes from the Don’t Feed the Trolls digi set, perfect for hanging my festive decorations. Speaking of decorations, the “BIRTHDAY” banner strung between the trees is from the Holiday Banner Sentiment Pack — a bright and cheery touch to any celebration! And what birthday party is complete without a cozy camper? The retro trailer in the background is from the Camper Life: The Teens digi set, adding that extra bit of outdoor adventure charm.

Everything in the scene is colored with Copic Markers, bringing each element to life with vibrant colors and depth. I love how the combination of all these digi sets makes it look like Sarge is hosting his very own birthday bash in the great outdoors.

Here’s to hoping your birthday — or someone special’s — is a real howlin’ good time! πŸΎπŸŽ‰

You can find all of these digi stamps and more fun scene-building elements over at Sweet November Stamps.

Have a great week!

Craft Roulette & Sweet November Stamps ~ Ahoy, Matey!

For Craft Roulette episode #279, I decided to bring a little swashbuckling fun to the stage!

My card features all things Sweet November Stamps — the bold blue curtains are from the Christmas Choir stamp set and my playful little pirates come from the A Bit of Piracy stamp set.

This week’s Craft Roulette parameters were:

  • Project: Kid’s Card

  • Colors: Theatre

  • Element: Picture(s)

  • Random: 1/2 and 1/2

Here’s how I made them work: Pirates are always a hit with kids, so that checked the first box right away! For the theatre colors, I turned the scene into a full-blown movie theatre stage, complete with rich blue curtains and a sandy “set.” The picture(s) element came to life as a “movie picture” scene unfolding before your eyes. And for that sneaky 1/2 and 1/2 twist? The pirate’s sword is half in and half out of the sand!

This card was so much fun to create and color — it felt like putting on a little pirate play right on paper. 🌊🏴‍☠️🎭

Hope you have a crafty week!  Join us on Friday night over on YouTube for the next episode of Craft Roulette: HERE

Catherine Pooler ~ You're Supremely Superb!

Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful card featuring some of my favorite Catherine Pooler Designs goodies!

For the blooms, I reached for the With Love Floral stamp set, its coordinating dies, and the matching stencil. This trio makes layering color onto your floral images a breeze!

Isn't that starry polka dot background cute?!  I used some of the small stamps from the With Love Floral stamp set to create my own paper!

Using my CP Premium Dye Inks in Honeycomb, Apricot, Sparkling Berry, Orange Peel, Serene, and Seafoam, I blended and stencilled each bloom in a soft yet vibrant palette. I love how these shades work beautifully together to create a fresh, happy look.  To enrich the depth of each bloom, I added some darker color of colored pencils.

For my card’s center panel, I used the Scallops & Dots Dies, giving my focal point a sweet, decorative edge. The sentiment, “You’re Supremely Superb,” comes from the Absolute Favorite Floral stamp set — a perfect phrase to send someone a little extra love and encouragement.

To finish off, I added some fun white gel pen accents!

You can find all of these supplies in the Catherine Pooler Designs shop.

I hope you have a creative week!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Cherry on Top!

Today I'm sharing a card that’s bursting with sweetness, sunshine, and a whole lot of cherries! πŸ’

This card features the brand-new "Bountiful Blessings: Cherry on Top" clear stamp set from Sweet November Stamps. I had so much fun arranging all the charming images into the Waffle Flower "Postage Collage A7" die – it creates the perfect little storybook layout for this cherry-picking adventure!

From the playful Australian Shepherd pups rolling in the grass to the sweet girl with a basket full of cherries, every element was stamped into its own little “postage stamp” window and brought to life with Copic Markers. I’m absolutely loving this vibrant, summery color palette—it really makes the reds of the cherries and the golden summer feel pop!

And that sentiment… "I couldn’t ask for a sweeter friend" – it just tugs at the heartstrings, doesn’t it?

To add to the postal theme, I also used the "Fantasy Post Marks" to get that distressed postage feel.

Whether you’re a fan of fruity scenes, sweet pups, or storytelling through stamps, this set is a must-have for your collection.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope this card brings a smile to your face today!

Happy stamping!
