Catherine Pooler ~ You're My Absolute Favorite

Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful card that’s sure to make someone feel extra special! I reached for some of my favorite Catherine Pooler Designs goodies to bring this heartfelt card to life.

I started by creating a soft and unique background using the Dreamy Damask Layering Stencils. Instead of the typical ink-blending method, I spritzed the stencil with water after applying On The Lake ink, then pressed it onto my cardstock. The result? A dreamy, watercolor-style impression that adds subtle texture and interest. I die cut the background using the Scallop & Dots Dies.

To frame the sentiment, I die cut a heart using the Nested Stitched Heart Dies and added a sweet banner accent from the Banner Sentiments Dies. Around the heart, I arranged a bouquet of bright, whimsical florals from the Absolute Favorite Floral stamp set and coordinating dies. I used a blend of CP inks to color everything: Sparkling Berry, Eucalyptus, Honeycomb, and Tiki Torch—a fun and happy mix that really makes those florals pop!

To finish the card, I added a few Wimbledon Sequins for that perfect touch of sparkle and shine.

For another touch of sparkle, I added some flat sequins from the retired "Sea Critter Sequin Mix". 

I finished off the card with a clean and simple sentiment using the “Hey Word Dies” from Catherine Pooler Designs, making this card a perfect little hello to brighten someone’s day.

Catherine Pooler ~ Showering You with Love

Hello crafty friends!

Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful card that’s perfect for sending a little handmade love. This project features the gorgeous new "With Love" clear stamp set from Catherine Pooler Designs—and it's packed with charm!

I used this gorgeous stamp set to create the beautiful floral images and the sweet patterns on the umbrella. Speaking of the umbrella, how cute is that dimensional element? I used the coordinating "Under the Umbrella Die" to create that sweet paper pieced shape, filling it with stamped blooms and leafy greens.

For my background, I used the fabulous "Dreamy Damask Layered Stencils" with a bit of "On The Lake" ink and a few spritzes of water to achieve that soft, watermarked effect. It adds just the right touch of texture and elegance.

My color palette features a fresh mix of On The Lake, Honeycomb, Seafoam, and Serene—a dreamy combo that feels both light and joyful.

This card came together like a breath of spring air, and I love how the layers, textures, and florals all work together to deliver one sweet sentiment—“With Love.”

Catherine Pooler ~ A Little Soft & Sweet Thinking of You

Today I'm sharing a card that’s full of gentle color and heartfelt sentiment—perfect for sending a little love to someone special. 💛💜

This card features the beautiful new "With Love" stamp set and coordinating dies from Catherine Pooler Designs. I absolutely adore the mix of florals in this set—they're whimsical, easy to color, and perfect for a variety of occasions.

To build my background, I pulled out the dreamy "Dreamy Damask Layered Stencils". I softly blended four of my favorite Catherine Pooler Designs inks across the stencils: Serenade, Honeycomb, and Seafoam. These pastel hues create a soft and serene backdrop that lets the sentiment and florals shine.

To add dimension and a little playful detail, I framed the floral cluster using the lovely scalloped panel from the "Dashes & Ruffles Dies". The bubbly edges give the whole card a charming touch that pairs beautifully with the elegance of the damask pattern.

The sentiment, “Thinking of You,” comes right from the "With Love" stamp set and is nestled among the layered die-cut flowers. I used a combination of yellow, soft orange, and lilac tones to color the blooms, adding soft shading for depth and dimension.

This card is a gentle reminder that a handmade message can brighten someone’s day—whether it’s a friend, family member, or someone who just needs a little pick-me-up.

Sweet November Stamps ~ Come Catch Some Rays!

Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful summer scene featuring some of the sweetest sun-loving fairies you’ll ever meet! ☀️🧚‍♀️

This card showcases the adorable "Fairwee Sunbathers" stamp set from Sweet November Stamps. Aren’t these tiny fairies just the cutest as they soak up the sunshine? To set the scene, I paired them with the serene "Horizon Lines: Spring" background stamp, which gave the perfect park-like feel to the card.

To bring the backdrop to life, I used my Copic Airbrush system to lay down the base color for the sky, grass, and distant trees. Then I brought everything to life with Copic Markers, layering in depth and dimension on both the background and the Fairwees.

The sentiment, "Catch some rays," comes from the newly released "Sunny Smiles" sentiment set—so perfect for this relaxing summer vibe! I stamped it on a banner from Catherine Pooler Designs' "Sentiment Banner Dies", which frames it beautifully without overpowering the scene.

🛠️ Card Details:

I used the beautiful new “Absolute Favorite Floral” stamp set to build a vibrant floral cluster around my sentiment. The greeting is stamped inside a stitched heart from the Nested Stitched Heart Dies, which I layered on top of a white banner cut from the Sentiment Banner Dies for added depth and detail.

For the background, I created a soft textured look using the brand new Dreamy Damask Layered Stencils with an ink-smooshing technique in It's a Boy ink. I die cut the panel using the Scallops & Dots Dies, giving the card a finished stitched border.

To finish it off, I added a few sparkly Valencia Sequins and a swirl of silver thread for a festive touch! ✨

Catherine Pooler ~ Studio Classics - Celebrating 10 years!

Hello crafty friends!  Today I’m sharing a fresh and floral card using some brand new goodies from Catherine Pooler Designs — the "Absolute Favorite Floral" clear stamp set and the beautiful "Dreamy Damask Layered Stencils".

For the background, I created a soft, textured look using the Dreamy Damask Layered Stencils in a reverse-inking technique. I smooshed Seafoam ink onto my work surface, pressed my stencil into the ink, then flipped it over, spritzed the stencil and then to press onto a piece of white cardstock. The result? A dreamy, watercolor-style damask design with a touch of elegance and softness!

Once dry, I die cut the panel using the Dots & Scallops Dies for that perfect stitched edge. I trimmed the panel into angled pieces to create space for my sentiment strip.

For the sentiment, I stamped "You're my ABSOLUTE favorite" in coordinating green ink and then surrounded it with a cheerful burst of florals from the Absolute Favorite Floral set. I used a happy rainbow palette, including yellows, oranges, purples, and soft lavender tones — all from the amazing Catherine Pooler ink collection.

A few sparkly Stickles dots add just the right touch of bling to the flower centers.

This card is a sweet way to let someone know just how much they mean to you!

Chibitronics ~ You Light Up My Life!

Hey crafty friends!

Today I’m sharing a card that truly lights up my life — literally! I had so much fun creating this glowing little scene using interactive products from Chibitronics along with the adorable brand new Flutterbee Kaylee clear stamp from Sweet November Stamps.

I wanted to capture the magic of a summer night filled with fireflies, so I started by coloring my background with a rich night sky, swirling around a glowing moon, and lots of twinkling fireflies. Flutterbee Kaylee is holding a jar to catch the little glow bugs — how sweet is she?

To bring this whimsical scene to life, I used a mix of Animating White Blink LED Light Stickers and White LED Light Stickers from Chibitronics. The blinking lights added a soft, flickering firefly effect, while the static white LEDs kept a few fireflies glowing steadily in the background plus makes that moon glow.

I built the circuit using Conductive Fabric Tape, which made it super easy to route all my connections cleanly behind the card front. A simple press on the card activates the lights, making this an interactive experience sure to bring a smile.

To finish it all off, I added the sentiment "You light up my life" — the perfect touch for this glowing handmade card.

If you haven’t tried Chibitronics products before, I highly recommend giving them a go — they’re a fantastic way to add a whole new level of creativity to your cardmaking!

To create the warm sunset background, I blended Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and Candied Apple Distress Oxide inks, letting the glow bring our dragon to life. I used the Fantasy Post Marks stamp set to add some fun postcard vibes, and the tiny “stamp” in the corner comes from the Dragon Trio stamp set — a perfect match for our postcard-style card!

For today’s hop, I’m sharing a festive creation featuring the “Winter Wishes Reindeer” cleart stamp set by Sweet November Stamps. Isn’t this little gift-toting reindeer just the cutest?

To bring this wintery scene to life, I ink blended a snowy sky using Distress Oxide inks in Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, and Villainous Potion.  So make it even more wintery, I used some white acrylic paint to add that touch of snow in the sky.  My reindeer is colored up using Copic Markers, and I added a few sparkly snowflake embellishments for that magical Christmas charm. ✨

I used some clear sparkly embossing powder and stamped on a few fun flakes from the stamp set.  An extra drop of some iridescent Stickles topped off each snowflake. 

A white heat embossed sentiment on some vellum was the perfect touch fr this holiday card!

Sweet November Stamps ~ Making Life a Splash!

Summer is in full swing, and what better way to celebrate than with a little water balloon fun? Today I’m sharing a playful beach card featuring the brand-new “Wet and Wild: Water Balloon Fight” digital images from Sweet November Stamps.

These two little cuties are mid-battle, flinging colorful balloons with joyful abandon! I created the beachy scene using Copic Markers, blending soft golden sand into cool ocean blues. I just love how dynamic and fun these characters are—they practically leap off the page!

To frame the scene, I used the vibrant “Lotsa Love” patterned paper from Catherine Pooler Designs. The bright geometric border adds the perfect pop of playful color.

This card was also created for my Sweet November Stamps PenPal—what better way to spread a little handmade sunshine than with a summery splash?

Sweet November & Craft Roulette ~ S'More Fun Ahead!

Today I'm sharing a whimsical camping card featuring some of my favorite digital stamps from Sweet November Stamps! I used the adorable kiddos from “Camper Life: Kiddos” and paired them with the sweet mom from the “Camper Life: The Parents” digital set. I just love how this little campfire scene came to life!

To create the cozy woodland setting, I used a moonlit forest digital background that gives the perfect dusky vibe—ideal for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores under the stars. Everything is colored with Copic Markers for that rich, candy-wrapper-inspired color palette.

This card was created as my contribution to Craft Roulette Episode #273, where the parameters were:

• Element: Camp(s)(ing)

• Random: Belt(s)

I made sure to include a little belt detail on the Mom’s shorts to bring in that last fun twist!

I love how the sentiment “S’More Fun Ahead!” ties everything together with a playful touch—it’s perfect for anyone who loves the great outdoors and a good campfire treat.
