Sweet November Stamps ~ May the Joys of Winter Never Melt

Happy Tuesday all!  Today I'm sharing a fun wintry card featuring Sweet November Stamps! 

I'm always looking for fun ways to use color!  I mean, who doesn't love a purple sky with purple snow!

I began by creating my backdrop.  I masked off the edges and then blended some soft purple Distress Oxide inks.  Before removing the masks, I splattered the same 2 purple inks and some white acrylic paint across the sky.

Next I stamped the cutie from the "Flutterbee Lyra" stamp set.  I decided that I need a bright pink and purple outfit to frolic in her purple sky-scape!

I used Copic Markers to color her in but I did use some Polychromos Pencils to add some of the details like her hat's brim, her tights and the snowflakes on her shirt.

Before I added our little Lyra to the card, I used one of the sentiments from the "Snow Angels" stamp set in fun CP "Pucker Up" ink.

I think I'll be using this as a birthday card for January!
