Tropically Yours - More Inspiration!

Happy Monday all!  Here’s another fun peek at some of the goodies you’ll find in the newest Stamp of Approval collection, Tropically Yours.

If you are new to Stamp of Approval, I’ve got a little ditty written up to describe what it’s all about.  Find out more, here.

I thought I’d share a few new cards today.  Now, if you watched Catherine’s blog post yesterday, she was talking about not having a pineapple in the collection… well I’m here to prove her wrong… lol!  Check this out!

I started with a traditional orange colored pineapple card.  I decided to make it little more masculine and grunge styled…
So how did I make the pineapple you ask?
  1. Stamp the large circle stamp from the Fearless Pursuit stamp set.
  2. Stamp the circle on some masking paper. Cut the whole inside of the circle from the mask.
  3. Apply the mask over the circle and ink the lower right side with a slightly darker ink.  Stamp the triangle V’s stamp to give the circle texture. Remove the mask.
  4. Ink up the smaller reed from the Stand Tall stamp set with a light and dark ink.
So to change it up, I decided on some fun pink pineapples for my second card…
Aren’t they cute??

Now, I’m not official part of Day 2 of the Blog Hops today but here are all of today’s links for you to check out today…
