Introducing... In Praise of Sunflowers

Hello all!  It’s Day 2 of our brand new Nature & Nurture Collection debut by Power Poppy.

Introducing… In Praise of Sunflowers

Hot on the heels of the digital release of our Sunshine of My Life bouquet, and paired up with the big splashy stem from Sunflower Power, we have heaps of praise for sunflowers. All new sentiments are included in this new stamp set to mix and match to set the right tone for your cardmaking.

I decided to go a little more country with my card today…
Copics: G0000, G000, G00, E70, E71, Y11, Y13, Y18, YR18, YR23,YG41, YG45, YG63  Prismacolor: Dark Brown

I began my focal image by first stamping the image using "Desert Sand" ink by Memento and then I restamping just the center of the flower with a touch of "Rich Cocoa".

Here’s a little bit of a close up of that gorgeous sunflower…

Now… take a look at my fellow Bloomies work using this happy new stamp set...

Fabulous way to stamp this in the light brown, and the yellow really grabs you. Simply beautiful Ally! I like the oval and your stitching on the designer paper.

Ally, your cards are always an inspiration and this one is no exception. Sunflowers are one of my favourite flowers and you certainly did justice to this one. I like that the overall colours are somewhat muted yet still striking and the layout and paper choices are wonderful. Cheers.
