Switch Up Your Shades!

TGIF everyone!  It’s a new month and so that means it’s time for a new challenge over at Power Poppy! Today’s it’s my month to host!

Your Power & Spark challenge is...

This month I want you pull out a coloring medium that you don't use that often.  So if you tend to use Copic Markers for instance, pull out your water color paints or your colored pencils instead!  Let's see you use up some of those not-so-used mediums this month.

For further challenge details, visit the Power Poppy Blog here.
Today I'm also joining along with Kathy Racoosin’s “30 Day Coloring Challenge” over at Kathy’s blog, “The Daily Marker”.  And my challenge falls in perfectly with Kathy’s challenge too! For more about Kathy’s challenge visit her blog here.

So if you follow my blog, you all know I LOVE my Copic Markers so in keeping with my theme of using a colouring medium that I don’t tend to use a lot, I picked up my Derwent Colored Pencils.

Plus, I also printed out the newest digi stamp released TODAY called “Magnolia Sunshine” and sunshine indeed!  Isn’t it darling and sunny?!?  awwww!

Marcella always makes the most amazing bouquets to colour!  She took inspiration for this beauty from all of her Mama’s favourite flowers…

My simple circular sentiment is from the “Azalea” stamp set!

Derwent Colors used:  Sun Yellow, Sherbet Lemon, Apple Green, Felt Green, Iris Blue, Fuchsia, Chilli Red, Sienna Gold, Baked Earth

Now, off you go and check out what the amazing Bloom Brigade has put together for you today using these five new beautiful stamp sets…

Gorgeous, gorgeous coloring there, Ally! Amazing job with those watercolor pencils and just an all over beautiful and cheerful card. I really enjoyed the push to get myself using a different medium. My crummy printer won't do watercolor paper, though, grrrr.

Your coloring is really beautiful!! I've never tried the digital stamps. What paper do you print it on? Is an ink jet printer good to use for coloring images? It's a very pretty image!
