Hello fellow Power Poppy lovers! I’ve been on a crafting-holiday the last 2 weeks. Being ill doesn’t make for easy card creating at all. And believe it or not… I still have to send out the majority of my Christmas cards as well! I KNOW… better late then never right?
So in an attempt to make a few more holiday cards, I wanted a super simple card design to use. I found a fun sketch for the CAS(e) this Sketch challenge that I thought would make an easy and quick card creating design, CTS #104:
And here is the card I created using their sketch this week…
I featured the “Bottlebrush Holiday” stamp set. It has this row of overlapping bottlebrush trees that I used with the single tree to make the stamped row of trees across the front of the card.
I partially die cut the “Happy” from red cardstock and then embossed the remainder of the die; adding some Glaze pen for added shine. The “Holiday” is a greeting stamp from the “Bottlebrush Holiday” stamp set also.
Now… off you go on a little hop through the Bloom Brigade blogs..

Sometimes breaks are good for the spirit :) I hope you’ve had a great time with your guys Ally! Such a fun card. I love the row of trees in the beautiful blue sky and I love the die cut sentiment combination too!
Yes, better late than never, and sometimes they don't get sent at all and that's okay, too. You do what you can. I'm glad you're feeling better. It's very clever how you added the single tree so it's difficult to ascertain at all that the row repeats. I had to look very closely. Have I ever mentioned that you're an awesome stamper? Probably. Love the sketch, but especially love how you used it. Happy new year, Ally!
Ah, Ally, so sorry you are sick! I've done nothing myself this year having been in the hospital a couple of weeks ago. So don't worry about it! But I'm glad you are feeling better, and I LOVE your card with the bottlebrush trees in a row with the great die and border treatment! I love it! Wishing you a wonderful new year, sweet friend! Hugs!
Such a fun and happy card.
Get well soon
