Woot Woot for Tuts!

For myself, I couldn’t resist trying out Julie Koerber’s fabulous tutorial on monochromatic colouring, seen here.  In her tutorial Julie shows how just some simple ink and a few Copic Markers can make for a stunning monochromatic card.

For my card, I chose to work with a deep blue-green and teal.  I used Stampin’ Up!’s “Handsome Hunter” ink and Copic Markers, BG10 & BG11. And here is the card I came up with…

What a gorgeous Christmas card, using this non traditional colors really makes it unique. I love the rich contrast of the beautiful DSP in the background and the gorgeous dies framing this beautiful image.

Oh, Ally, this is really pretty with the monochromatic look! I really do love the tinted photo look like Christine says! And I still have some Handsome Hunter too! Such a rich, evergreen color! Beautiful! Hugs!
