popular in the past and so, why not bring them back? Each bag is valued at
roughly $40 but... you pay only $25!!! Each bag has two stamp sets -- YES TWO!
One is an unpackaged set that we cannot sell because it doesn't have an index
sheet. But, it stamps perfectly and would love a new home! Each bag also has a
fun tutorial sheet showcasing a card or technique. Add in a few yards of ribbon

You know Picasso was said to have had a "blue phase"? Well... I think I'm in the "dark phase" of my work this week. LOL! This is the second card in a matter of days where I created a dark back ground but you know... it's just SO dramatic and I love that!
If you didn't happen to see my first "dark phase" card creation, you can check out here. ;)
So I thought I'd share with you my "dark phase" process. First I cut out a piece of Classic White Cardstock. I then stamped two of the glorious daffodil images from the "Signs of Spring" collection using Memento "Black Tuxedo" ink. I created 2 masks from Post-It-Notes from the same image and placed them over top of my images.
Next I took my Copic Markers and loaded them into my Copic airbrush (V04, V09, BV25 , BV29 and Y13) and airbrushed the entire back ground. I concentrated my darker purples towards the back ground of my flowers and the lighter pinks and the yellow around the edges.
Leaving the masks on my paper, I laid a Tim Holtz "Burlap" Layering Stencil over top of the cardstock at an angle. I used some Copic Blender Solution on a piece of paper towel and dabbed it through the stencil to resist the Copic air brushing and this is the design I got...
After removing the masks and colouring my image using the following Copic Markers:
BV20, BV25, BV29, BV31, Y11, Y13, Y35, Y38,
YG03, TG05, YG11, YG21, YG63, YR18, YR21, V04 & V09.
Here is my final card...
I backed my image with a piece of "Cool Canteloupe" cardstock from the Terra Cotta Color Made Easy collection and then put them onto a card base made from Classic Black Cardstock. I think that pop of fine, fine orange colour makes the perfect frame!
Lately I have been trying to learn more about adding proper shadowing to my work. I'm finding that BV20, BV25 and BV31 are going to be my best friends! LOL! Thanks for stopping by!
