Summer Card Camp: Week #1

Howdy all! It's so good to be back creating again! This is the first time I have touched paper and ink for over a week.

A few weeks back I signed up for the Summer Card Camp 2011 and this week's challenge was to use the colour scheme shown below...

So at the last minute I threw together this fun card I think I'll send to my Dad. I'm going home for literally a 2 day visit in August so I'll get to see him then.

Counting the Days
supplies: stamps, myStamp BOX (Lots of Numbers, Splash Me a Little!); cardstock, Gina K. Designs; inks, Ranger, Stampin' Up!; embossing powder, Hero Arts; other, computer font.

I had fun making it and it literally only took me about 20 minutes!

Wow! Love this card - great colour combo and sentiment.
And it's so good to see you crafting again.
