Scrapbooker's Paradise Challenge #25

Happy Friday everyone! Check out the latest Playing in Paradise challenge today over at Scrapbooker's Paradise!! This week's it's my turn to host the latest challenge and I chose a photo of a beautiful quilt to inspire the team this week...

This week I was inspired by the shape of the plus sign within the quilt so I created a card using the plus sign design.

First I designed the plus sign pattern in my Klic N'Kut software and cut it out of Bazzill "Avalanche" white cardstock.
Then I took 4 patterns of the "Odds & Ends" 6x6 collection by Cosmo Cricket and cut squares of the papers to back the open areas of the cardstock.
I matted it using another fabulous pattern from the 6x6 pad and stuck everything to a simple card base... VOILA! A simple but fun card!

Come and check out what my fellow Challenge Team members have created with this week's challenge:

This week's prize is from the Imaginisce Happy Camper line; some stamps, die cuts and some sticker stackers. An approximate value of $15.00!

How to Play:
  • You have until noon on Thursday, July 28th to link your entries for this challenge below.
  • Please link directly to your entry photo or your specific blog post featuring your project, not a general link HERE. We reserve the right to remove invalid links. If you're uploading to a public forum, then use the keyword PPC25 so we can find you!
  • Please fill in your name as the caption/label within the linky tool.
Good luck!

I love the patterned papers you used here but that white overlay is so perfect! Looks like a bit of effort but that contrast is so worth it!
