Scrapbooker's Paradise Challenge #05

Yippee! It's Friday! Time to play the latest Playing in Paradise Challenge at Scrapbooker's Paradise Ponderings!

This week our challenge hostess, Julie Dinn, has challenged in the way of confectionery delights... CUPCAKES!

So for my cupcake inspired challenge I created this fun card...

Celebrate!

I started off by paper piecing the cute little cupcake stamp from Hot Off the Press called Cupcake. This little stamp included the little cherry, a candle, a heart element and the sentiment "Celebrate!" that I used as well!

That pretty little flourish die cut is from the newly released Heartfelt Creations Die called "Decorative Butterfly - Border". This is a new die manufacturer by Spellbinder's.

I used a variety of fun edge punches... one of my creative addictions... including the Binding Edge by EK Success.

That intricate lace ribbon is from Hero Arts. It's self-adhesive and comes in a few different colours; cream and white.

All the patterned papers are from the gorgeous My Mind's Eye new Stella Rose - Mabel collection. I used the paper pad of 6x6 papers found here. This size of papers is perfect for card making since all the paper patterns are sized down to a 6x6 format.

Make sure you take a moment and check out my fellow design team member blogs and check out what they did with the challenge this week...
Julie

Play along with us for chance to win a guest position to play along with the team for one week! For details, check out the Scrapbooker's Paradise Ponderings blog. Good luck!
