This was Mel's turn to challenge the LCOM Card Team to a challenge. She challenged us to use chipboard on our cards this week.
So I went searching through my stash and I found a whole container of Maya Road key chipboard shapes and came up with the card you see below.
Thinking of You
I first Versamarked my key and then added some bronze embossing powder to it and then applied some heat. I kinda wanted a "travel" feel to my image so I grabbed my myStampBOX stamp set, Road Trip" and created a simple stamped back ground piece for the center of my card. I used a variety of Ranger Distress inks for my stamping.
I even decided to finish off the inside to match the outside...
Supplies: stamps, myStampBOX; cardstock, Prism, Bazzill; patterned papers, Dream Street Papers; chipboard key, Maya Road; embossing powder, Walmart; inks, Versamark, Ranger; edge punch, Fiskars; die cut shapes, Spellbinder's; ribbon, KI Memories; other, thread.
Make sure to check out LCOM and the chipboard card challenge. The Card Team made some amazing cards. You can see them here.
Good luck!
