My scrappy pal Melanie Muenchinger, designer/illustrator and Senior Design Team Member for Gina K Designs and also one of my So Sketchy! Sistas is having a fun challenge to use one of her beautiful rubber stamp sets called "A Year of Flowers".
I also wanted to make a card for my best friend's anniversary coming up next week so I decided to combine the challenge with my card. Here's what I came up with using the "A Year in Flowers" stamp set....
Happy Anniversary
To colour my roses, I actually stamped my roses on white cardstock and then took my Copic Sketch markers and used my airbrush to colour them. I used RV42 (Salmon Pink) as a base colour and then R24 (Prawn), R46 (Strong Red), R59 (Cardinal) and even a little bit of Y17 (Golden Yellow) for a touch of yellowy orange.
Here's a close up of the tag and the popped up rose image.
Make sure you check out the rest of the challenge participants creations on Mel's blog, right here.
Have a great Friday night everyone!
