It's Turkey Day!!!

 

 

It is time for Krafty Peeks again at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! The August Krafty Peeks begin today and you're not going to believe the fabulous goodies we have in store for you this month! As you may know our August release is always focused on fall and Halloween!!

Today is Day One of our August Krafty Peeks and we are kicking things off with the perfect FALL stamp set!  This set is from artist Neda Sadreddin and it's called...  IT'S TURKEY DAY!!

Check out these adorable pilgrims and the super fun turkey!! Won't these just make the cutest Thanksgiving cards! This set also includes 5 awesome sentiments and 2 accessory stamps!

I think the sweet little boy and girl pilgrim are just adorable!  So I had to stamp and colour them in first!  I also used the fun "Gorgeous Gauze" stencil with the Charming Chartreuse and Enchanted Emerald inks.

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the IT'S TURKEY DAY! stamp set in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new AUGUST Kraftin' Kimmie products!

You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink rainbow! It's a vibrant new orange named TEMPTING TANGERINE!  As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, mini cubes and ink refills!

We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help accessorize your creations!
They are called GHOULISH GHOSTS & GORGEOUS GAUZE!  One perfect for all your spooky cards and the other a fabulous must have pattern for any occasion! 

 

And of course, we are adding the perfect new coordinating Krafty Dots for this release! The package includes mini enamel dots in varying sizes in 6 different colours!  These ones are called HALLOWEEN DOTS!

 

 You'll get to see all of our brand new goodies in action over the next few days of August Krafty Peeks and everything will be released at our LIVE Online Release Party in the Krafty Friends Facebook group on Saturday, August 15th at 2 pm EST!

Fall Pick-N-Mix from Catherine Pooler

It's release dya for the adorable Fall Pick-N-Mix collection!  This collection is a small release but with big bang!

For my first two cards, I used the fun "Narrow Stripe Cover Plate Die" along with the "Hey Pumpkin" stamp set.  Aren't those sweet pumpkin stamps adorable???

For this card I chose to showcase the "Hey Pumpkin Dies".  I die cut all my shapes from some of the "Fall Pick-N-Mix" patterned papers and stamped the sentiment.  I distressed all the die cuts with a simple swipe of some sandpaper.

For my final card today, I first created a panel of Lime Rickey, Tiki Torch and Grape Crush ink.  Then I stamped my pumpkin and stem images in Versamark ink and add some Wanderlust Embossing powder to it.  After heat setting the powder, I added some Midnight ink to the entire surface and then buffed off the excess ink sitting on the embossed areas.  I did the same with my greeting too!  So fun!

Let's Get Sketchy!

Good morning and welcome to another fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 

Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create!

 

This week, krafty girl Karla is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is... Use A Sketch! - you get to choose the sketch! Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like. These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and products will earn you double entries!  The monthly prize is a 25$ voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

 

First of all I had to find a fun sketch to use.  I finally the May sketch and started creating... 

As I was thinking about the sketch I was thinking that the rectangle would make a great frame for a beach scene.  So I grabbed the beautiful, "Life is a Joy" stamp set and created a fun scene.

And here is the full scene I created for the 2 sweeties on the bench.
