Many Hearts a Shakin'!

It's Saturday!  Hooray for the weekend!  I hope you're gettin' crafty today!

Today I'm sharing a fun shaker card creation featuring products from the newest Catherine Pooler Designs release called "Just a Note".

I begin by die cutting a fun notecard sized frame from the "Notecard Frame & Tag Die" set. I added Versamark ink to the frame and then added WOW's "Uptown" embossing powder to it and heat set it.

I then cut a piece of that adorable plaid paper from the new "Lotsa Love" 6x6 patterned paper pack to fit behind it.  I used all different sizes of the fun "Two Part Heart Dies" t cut heart shapes on that plaid.  I then backed it with a piece of acetate to create a window panel.

I used the new "Notes of Love Sentiments" stamp set and coordinating die to create a greeting using In The Park and Uptown inks.

I placed some 3D foam adhesive behind the frame and added some new Rebohoth Beach Sequins inside the shaker.

Hey There Sweet Stuff!

TGIF!  So today Catherine from Catherine Pooler has revealed the final bundle for the "Take a Note" release coming next week!

This bundle is called the "Notes of Love Bundle".

This bundle includes the "Two Part Hearts" and "Notes of Love Sentiments" stamp sets and their coordinating die sets plus the beautiful 6x6 patterned paper pack called "Lotsa Love", the cool "Notecard Bubble Frame Dies" and the shiny new "Rehoboth Beach Sequins".  Purchasing this bundle gets you a small discount compared to purchasing everything individually.

So began by creating my own background paper.  I used the cool round rectangle solid stamp from the "Notes of Love Sentiments" stamp set.  I used It's a Girl, Do-si-do, Party Dress, Be Mine and Pucker Up inks. I die cut my paper using the Scallops & Dots Dies (a must-have die set in my opinion!).

I then die cut a variety of the "Two Part Hearts" shapes and stamped the coordinating heart pieces inside using the same inks and adhered them to the panel.

I added some "Moon Stone" Stickles to some of the patterned and mini hearts.

Catherine Pooler ~ Introducing... Just a Note Collection!

Happy Thursday all!  Today Catherine Pooler announced the newest theme of the newest collection being released this coming Wednesday!  Meet the "Just a Note" collection!

If you'd like to see the live release, click here.

Today I'm using the brand new "Big Blossoms" stamp set and some other fun CP products.

For today's card, I'm using the Kiss technique.  This is where you "kiss" one stamp to another.  So for instance, I first stamped the large blooms in Samba ink, cleaned off my stamp and then inked up the "Plaid Background" stamp with Midnight ink and then pressed it to the large bloom stamp causing the plaid image to the bloom.  Then I pressed the plaid-ed bloom to the red inked image and voila!  A plaid bloom was born!

To finish off my card, I die cut the large blooms out and added some gold embossed snowflakes from the "Scrolling Snowflakes" stamp set. I also die cut some dotted rectangles using the "Scallops & Dots" dies and added some Oak City Sequins too!

That fun sentiment is from the new "Handwritten Thank You Sentiments" stamp sets... this is going to be on your must-have stamp set list for sure!

Now I wanted to tray another color of bloom so I used Pucker Up ink for another fun Floral & Flakes card...

Stayed tuned tomorrow for another fun mini-collection reveal!

Happy stamping!
