Cards ~ Two by Two

Today's challenge on Caardvarks was to create two cards using the same supplies.

I made one card a 35th wedding anniversary card for my parents. They will be celebrating 35 happy years together this Sunday.

My other card is a Thank You card for future use.

UNO Cardo!

I'm participating in the celebration over at Caardvarks this week! They are celebrating over 10,000 visitors to their site. To celebrate they have a 10 day long celebration where each day they post a new card challenge. If you'd like to participate, check their site here - http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/

The first challenge was to create a card using one stamp on the front of your card.

Here's my card for the challenge; a birthday card for a friend.
I used a paper cripper to get the corrigated white paper for the candle and the cupcake base.

Finally Got to Sit Down and Create!

I've been in a mini scrappin' funk lately so I just haven't been able to sit down at my desk and feel creative.

But tonight, after about 5 days of not touching my desk at all, I finally scrapped a page about my son and his love of sand.
