Card making, sketches, tutorials and more!
Don't forget!!!
Today over on the myStamp BOX blog the entire team is sharing projects featuring backgrounds or patterns.
I first cut a piece of canvas paper and stamped a variety of the little houses all over the canvas using Memento ink. Then I sewed the square using pink thread to a mat of brown cardstock.
Then I created my little house image and backed it with some pretty patterned Prima paper (say that 3 times fast... LOL).
I die cut my tag and stamped "Hugz" from the Whatever! stamp set. If you look closely, you can just barely see the "X's" all over the light greeny-blue background too. They're from the Rough Copy Alphabet set.
And to finish off my card, I stamped the remainder of the sentiment on the inside. The full sentiment reads...
It's Friday! TGIF everyone!
I chose to use some of the colours of the image, the roses from the bed spread and romantic feel of the room as my inspiration for my card this week...
I hope you'll take a moment and stop on by all of my fellow Challenge Team member blogs. Each one of them has designed a beautiful project using my inspiration this week:
supplies: patterned paper, alpha stickers, stickers, BasicGrey; cardstock, Bazzill; stamps, Prima Marketing; transparent balloon, doily, Little Yellow Bicycle; ink, Stampin' Up!, Ranger; fabric, Moda; stick pins, Little Yellow Bicycle, Making Memories; embossing folder, Provocraft; pen, sharpie; other, thread.
Yuppers... it's day number two for me over on the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog as this week's guest designer.
Hope to see you on over at the SCT blog today!
I few months back I was approached by Catherine Tachdjian, Editor of Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine to come and join them on their blog as their Guest Designer this week. Thanks Catherine! I agreed in a heart beat! LOL!
Make sure you check out the blog again on Wednesday when I return with another texture themed project.
TGIF everyone!!! It's Friday! Here in BC we are just finishing up our first week of Spring Break and still looking forward to one more... HOORAY!
So this is what I came up using Dana's colours...
My stamped image is from Flourishes, called Butterflies and Blossoms. I used a variety of fun Copic markers to colour in my image this week. I ALWAYS use Tsukineko's Black Tuxedo - Memento ink when using Copic markers. It NEVER bleeds.
supplies: stamps, Flourishes, Papertrey Ink; patterned papers, Bo Bunny; primed canvas paper, Fredrix; die cut shape, Spellbinders; butterfly charm, My Mind's Eye; inks, Ranger, Memento, Copic; brads, BasicGrey; lace, Hero Arts; cardstock, Bazzill; other, thread.

I had 5 comments... and the number generator picked...
This week's challenge is from the lovely Allison. Her challenge this week over at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog, is a sketch challenge. You can choose either her card sketch...
... or her layout challenge this week. It's your choice!
I chose to use Allison's card sketch and created this fun card...
The fun image on my card is from Stampavie and it's called "Ruffles Get Well Soon". You can see more super cute Ruffles stamps here at Scrapbooker's Paradise.
Last but not least a used a variety of Copic Markers to colour in my image. You can find every colour under the rainbow in these markers and there's nothing better than sitting down and just colouring an image to relax!
