Birthday Blooms

It's my Mom's birthday next week so I thought I'd make her a floral card.

I simply adore all of my beautifully ornate Flourishes stamps sets so I chose this beautiful floral bouquet to stamp and colour as my focal image.

supplies: stamps, Flourishes; die cut shapes, Spellbinder's; inks, Memento, Ranger, Copic; patterned papers, BasicGrey; pearls, Hero Arts; cardstock, Bazzill, Gina K. Designs; embossing folder, Sizzix; other, thread.

I also decorated the inside too...

I sure hope she'll like it....

O'Christmas Tree!

I love incorporating stamps into my layouts whenever possible. For one of my latest layouts, I used the whimsical "O Christmas Tree" stamp set from myStamp BOX. I just adore all the different trees that you can add to your creations!

For my layout, I started off by stamping a dark green tree and then masking it off to stamp a lightly lighter green tree behind it. The masking and layering creates a more realistic scene with some trees being in the foreground versus the back ground.

All layout supplies in the December kit except stamps and inks.

For this page I used the WeScrap December kit, "Winter Bliss". I just adore the colour palette of blues, purples and greens!

To add a little touch of shimmer, I used the Glaze pen in the kit to highlight some of the details on my stamped trees.
